The Dapper Doily | Quilted Print Christmas Suit

We designed this Christmas Suit with one thing in mind. Have you ever been gifted a doily by your grandmother? Doilies are strange small ornamental mats made into a lace pattern, typically placed under a cake or other sweet foods. What in my grandmother’s right mind made her think that me, a 27-year-old single male, would have a use for a doily? Since I knew it would clash with my Breaking Bad poster at home, I brought it into the office. To my surprise, our designer went positively ape shit. The vintage pattern made her feel things she hadn’t felt in ages. She ran with the idea and created this Dapper Doily print. Featuring an ornamental weaving pattern, this red and green blazer is just as adorable as granny’s doily without the constant itch and mothball scent. Wear this around the old people to impress them and prove your appreciation of tatting (look it up).
